About Maintruth

We help startups earn buyer trust without building a security team too early.

Maintruth exists for the awkward stage when your company is mature enough to sell to enterprise buyers, but not yet large enough to have a full security, GRC, and customer trust function.

Why we exist

The answers exist. Assembling them is what eats the week.

A small startup can have a strong product and still lose momentum when a buyer sends a long security review.

The questions are rarely simple. They touch infrastructure, access control, encryption, privacy, vendors, backups, incident response, AI, compliance, and policy documentation. The answers are scattered across founders, engineers, old questionnaires, policy folders, and compliance tools.

We built Maintruth to compile that scattered knowledge into one reviewed source and draft from it, so answering a questionnaire stops being a week of archaeology and becomes an afternoon of review.

What we believe

Our principles

Accuracy over speed theater

Fast answers only help if they are correct. Every draft carries its citations so speed never has to be taken on faith.

No unsupported claims

The engine never invents controls, overstates maturity, or presents planned work as implemented. A flagged gap beats a confident lie.

Startups need right-sized help

Not every company needs a full-time security hire or a consulting retainer. Many need the questionnaires answered first.

Reuse creates leverage

Every questionnaire should make the next one easier. Answers your team edits feed back into the knowledge base.

Trust is part of revenue

Admin burden sucks, but security reviews are critical to the enterprise sales process.

Founders should be building

Buyer security reviews should not pull your CTO or founders off the product.

See it on your own questionnaire

Add your documents, upload the questionnaire, and review drafted answers the same afternoon.
